As soon as you reach the point that your total miss + dodge + parry + block is 87.4% or higher (which doesn't really require that high a standard of gear) then the extra block rating starts pushing crushes off the table. It certainly isn't an incredibly valuable stat but it does help prevent crushes in those weird situations. It is certainly however more of a trash/heroic stat than a raid stat but on certain bosses it can be useful to get that 15% crushing chance reduced even if it is only by a couple percent. The big point though is don't worry about Block rating. It's really not that good and almost any stat takes priority over it. Hence, why I hate Figurine of the Colossus so much. Fixed and Agreed.
