2 ways to Handle 99% of your Bad 5 man Pulls

Otherwise known as your “oh shit” buttons…

1. Intimidating Shout

A bad situation almost always is that 2 groups have pulled instead of 1. As a result, the group that you may have been worried about fearing into is probably the 2nd group kicking your ass. Use Intimidating Shout aggressively and make sure to call out that you are using it so as to not have 2 members of your party use up their aoe fears at the same time.

2. Challenging Shout + Shield Wall

When fearing isn’t an option Challenging Shout is really your only option in situations where a hunter has decided to multi-shot the sap, the sheep and his own trap. This technique is also fantastic for recovering from a late 2nd group pull. (unlikely oh shit button #1 which is intended for an early 2nd group pull) Ultimately, you have to get into the mindset to use both Challenging Shout and Shield Wall aggressively because if you are relying on it to down a particular boss then you are doing something wrong.

    Not entirely true,

I’ve noticed that Thunder Clap brings you a long way.. I tend to just ignore the “current target” for a while, thunder clap to get the initial agro and quickly build that threat on the adds gained. In my mind al I need to achieve is that “healing threat” level, so I try to get at least 1 ss up and then sunder a few.

By then the “current target” will prolly head for the dps, wich I then try to taunt off, wich tends to work, unless the mob is taunt immune. Then well 1 dps dies/vanishes/feign deaths/ice blocks… either way it’s a moment where one thing is most important:
    DON’T PANIC.

Handle it and don’t lose control, I’ve saved wipes most of the time that way.

gear is important here, sure a green warrior will prolly pop here.. but in the end: the result is what matters… 2 groups 1 dead warrior but still managed, was the sacrifice you had to take.
