    Ironically Trolls are the second best tanking race on Horde. Orc racials are useless for tanking and Undead racials are situational. Berserking and the low regen rate are both better overall then Undead, and blow Orc out of the water, since Orc racials are useless for tanking.

    15% resistance to stun and knockout effects seems a lot stronger for tanking than Berserking or the regen rate. Not to mention while a fear escape my be situational, it prevents wipes in those situations which is more than I can say for either Troll racial.

    Most importantly though… the post was intended as satire. :)

    I’ll take “Hardiness” over “Berserking” any day for tanking. Berserking doesn’t do much threat when you’re stunned (because you don’t have that extra 15% stun resist)…. :o)

    If you’re going to be a tank make a Tauren. Do you have any idea how much more HP you get from simply having a 5% boost wit decent gear. :P This isn’t brain surgery people!

    Also, if I had a nickel for every time war stomp has saved our asses…

    I agree with tara, being a tauren is really the best way to go. Sure all races have their advantages, but the HP and warstomp beat them all :P

    Dwarves own. Stoneform has saved my life more times than i can count its a free inspiration buff 10% bonus to total AC, thats pretty sweet for a MT, plus the bleed/disease/blind immunity.

    Being a NE i get the whopping 1% dodge…and i’m always the first one back after a wipe…not completely impressed by it…but i’m kinda stuck after 3 years

    Orcs and Humans now also have the Expertise from Axes and Maces, respectively. There’s Cleaver of the Unforgiving outta ZA and The Brutalizer from BT for Orcs, and, uh, Mallet of the Tides for humans.

    Also…maybe you don’t like Trolls, but they’re a far cry better than Gnomes.
