Why 1 point in Tactical Mastery?!

It leaves you enough rage for Intercept + Pummel when you switch stances. This is ideal for mobs that are immune to stun, but even stunable casters will resist your intercept from time to time making this 1 point offer a lot more than you may expect.

Example:

After Shade of Aran does his Arcane Explosion, you’ll be able to stop his next cast.

Once he starts casting you can switch to defensive stance and keep dpsing a little longer and then intervene someone to get out of range of the explosion.

During Aran, the only time I’m not already in beserker stance is when I switch to defensive to intervene someone if I’m too slow to move out of the arcane explosion.

    Same here.

On Aran, I’m in Beserker Stance the entire fight, except when I need to switch to defensive to intervene someone to get out of arcane explosion if I feel like I won’t make it for some reason.

So with the new change to tactical mastery and adding threat to MS and bloodthirst, does anybody know if you gain the same amount of threat with 1 point and 3 points? Or does the assigned extra threat go up as points in the talent increase?

The more points in Tactical Mastery the greater threat increase you’ll see from MS or Bloodthirst.

Thanks for the answer, wasn’t how I was hoping it’d work, but it saves me the 50g for fixing a spec after the fact.

One point in tac mastery is very useful. It allows you to charge + stance and keep all the rage, it also allows you to switch stance, then execute immediately.
