Requires at least 2 Blue gems
Requires at least 1 Yellow gem
"Only fits in a meta gem slot."

Of course this would mean using a helm that can fit a Meta gem and the Battleworn Tuskguard can't. Best one is -

Faceplate of the Impenetrable - 45 Block Value from illidan.

Question - Does the Meta Gem 10% get accounted for first then the Shield Mastery 30% or taken together as 40%? as this will affect the total value.

Another option for belt is

Onslaught Waistguard - 56 Block Value

Theres also a meta gem now that increase blockvalue with 10% i think.

I was wondering if you could use itemstats instead of wowhead links. My company blocks wowhead and I cant see item stats by hovering mouse over the item. I can see teh item stats in this topic but not in the 2.4 badge loot pick order

hey Ven…can you update this list for the ZA stuff? I still look at it super often and it would be awesome to see that stuff side by side with these others. Thanks for all your awesome work!

You can put 2pc T5 in there too, for an extra 100 block value. Shield block / autoblocker / Shield slam makes for fun crits on low armour mobs. My best is about 2750 in a real world situation. (no enrage / deathwish shield slams on zerk stance naked warriors :P)

And if you really want to get carried away, there’s a bunch of nice block gear in ZA.
