I voted for the gauntlets comparison. From an EH standpoint, I’d choose the Bonefist. However, my SBV is so low (254, I know, pathetic) that I’m almost determined to farm Maiden for her gloves and instead build up my badges for the Unwavering Legguards. I’d like to hear your take on this, Vene.
My second vote would be for your article on Passive Uncrushableness, a concept that still eludes me.
Love your site. Keep up the great work.

i couldn’t vote (since there might be a problem with my company browser .>), but I chose passive uncrushableness, pre-kara gear that will take you to BT, and bonefist vs gauntlets of the maiden. I was brought in just for Maiden (as dps), the gloves drop and with my luck, i roll a 1…. Then i got told my dps sucked (which is obvious with my damage gear) and i got booted. haha

I was leaning towards the BT guide myself, (can’t wait till we head in there on sunday!) But I’m more interested in the Ven rule. Or more specifically, more interested in Souix’s response. =P

No Excuses! Pre-Karazhan gear that will let you tank Black Temple.
Would benefit me the most at the moment. I’m working on my T3 Dugeon Set at the moment. I’m @ 485 defense at the moment and could easily get 490. I currently have two peices of the bold set the gauntlets from SV and the shoulders from SLABS.. I have been running Arc for the chest piece but it never seems to drop. In my current state I could most likely run Kara but I dont wanna go there and get destroyed. And look like a noob warrior

Great work. I read this daily (or as often as you update it) but never posted before … awesome resource for us tankers …
@Andre: if I had it to do over again, I’d worry much less about getting my entire Bold set than I did leading up to raiding Kara. There is much better tanking gear available at some of the slots. For instance, I never got the chest because the Aldor rep chest is excellent and not hard to get. There are similar examples at other slots.
Your post ideas:
Passive Uncrushableness has been talked about a lot already … it’s a “fun” idea but requires you to nerf you other abilities to the point of being of very niche and questionable use.
I think new badge item order has a whole lot to do with the gear you’ve already been able to amass. I was tanking often in the PvP belt (Moroes stinks) so my first choice wasn’t a question. I have the badge reward cape and neck as well as attuneman’s bracers, Curator’s pants and T4 hands. So for me, I think neck/cape will be next two (I’m not sure order matters all that much for this) but if I didn’t have the bracers, pants and hands I do have, they’d take priority.
Bonefist Gauntlets vs Iron Gauntlets of the Maiden: although a bit subjective … I think the Bonefist is pretty much clearly superior. But again depending on what you have you could see that differently …
The other ones are either too vague for me to comment or I don’t quite understand what they might mean. I vote for:
No Excuses! Pre-Karazhan gear that will let you tank Black Temple
… as I’d like to hear what you think on this matter …

Andre, if you’re after a guide to pre-kara gear for Kara, I’d suggest
http://www.theoryspot.com/forums/gear-lists-rankings/31940-polar-s-easy-pre-karazhan-tank-gear-list.html
I’m assuming the pre-kara gear for BT will include a lot of heroic drops, badge items, and probably a darkmoon card and an arena item or two. i.e. overkill for most of Kaz. Using the above guide, I got my warrior alt strolling into Kaz with 13k hp and 510 def only two days after hitting 70.

I voted for passive uncrushability. Its a concept that has some validity at the Tier 5 level and the new Block Rating gear from ZA and Badges gives you some needed additional options.
Now if only that dirty Dragonhawk would drop his shield.

Thanks for the overwhelming response. I certainly will try to do this kind of thing more often. (possibly having it on the right side and update it frequently)
The Winner:
No Excuses! Pre-Karazhan gear that will let you tank Black Temple
Interestingly enough, I was going to write, “In Defense of Fury Warriors” as my next post, boy was I wrong. To my Darkspearian friends, don’t worry “The Vene Rule” will come out eventually, possibly over the holidays
As always guys keep the comments, suggestions, questions coming. You guys really have made this site worth the massive time I’ve invested in it. Thanks again.
