Took me like 2 days to get exalted with Aldor. I just farmed gold and bought marks and fel armaments.

I have only had 1 successful heroics run and 3 disasters. But, I am raiding almost every night of the week so the badges are rolling in. So far raids have given me 176 badges and heroics 6.

At some point I want to do Heroic Mech on a daily basis for the 4 badges. Mech was the one successful heroic I mentioned above and it took about an hour. 1 hour for 4 badges (6 if it is the daily like when i did it) seems like a good daily routine.

Thanks for the shadowpriest- to-party nod, Vene. They are quite helpful in heroic MgT with both kinds of MC. (On a MC pull, the rest of the party must do NOTHING until the MC'd mob is dead dead dead, then have the spriest fade and begin a normal pull), and in that last horrible resetting pull just before the final boss (a post-pull MC...after the pull, have the spriest dot the primary target, then MC the Smuggler...smugglers do insane amounts of melee damage and you will essentially have another tank). Joy!

Great site...thanks for the encouragement.

Such a big difference to gain fast aggro on trash with gunho DPs in raids and instances and to have avoidance on those hard hitting Bosses in MH

was a good listen.
cant agree more on your articles, and there is always an extra info that I can use in my now 3years of tank exp.

Was thinking that I actually should name my main gears for:
Aggro and Avoidance Gear

b4 my aggro gear was named normal or block - and avoidance I named Boss gear, but just is a more clear syntax to call them aggro and avoidance.

And imo Tanks in general should be aware and distinct these 2 main Tanking Equipments.

Meh, Kara is easier than heroics anyway. :3

All the tanking gear in 2.3 did not cost 500 badges. :( The neck, bracers, gloves, belt, pants, boots = 350. The new 2.4 gear is mostly sidegrades depending on what you've gotten of the 2.3 gear and ZA. I have the chest from ZJ and all the 2.3 gear so really the only things I plan on spending badges are are the new belt, ring, and Sapphires. :) That's again only about 350 badges. There are months between patches, that's plenty of time to get so many...Kara/ZA or no.

If your guild can't at least clear most of Kara you're probably not ready for most heroics anyway. :/ Kara is easier than most heroics IMO, especially Mr. T.

Vene is my hero. It is indeed nice to put the voice to the words. ^_^

One tip for Heroic Ramparts:
You can spellreflect most "burning ground" boss stuff, INCLUDING the blaze from the Dragon. so, as soon as you grabbed the dragon, hit spellreflect! as soon as he fire breathes, he will leave a burning spot right there on the ground. If you have spellreflect up, you will only eat the cone fire breath, but not the fire damage from the burning spot. move aside one step, let spellreflect cooldown + 1 or 2 secs, put it up again, and you're ready for the next fire breath.

@Dan: Kill them :P They have very little health and focus firing them really is your only solution.

Keep the sign offs coming guys... I'll put up a poll shortly based on what you send to my email.
